About Matthew Berdyck Travel
In my career as an activist, filmmaker, and journalist, I’ve enjoyed the luxury of traveling the United States, for almost seven years straight, flying by the seat of my pants at a thousand miles an hour, from city to city, town to town, village to village.
During those travels, I’ve explored restaurants, forests, unique hotels, visit hundreds of toxic waste sites, and have been at or near hundreds of national news events, living the thick of reality, as it occurred.
From mass shootings to the LA Black Lives Matter protests, I have been at the heart of some of America’s biggest controversies. At the same time, I’ve enjoyed lavish food, luxurious locales, and every type of wondrous terrain this country has to offer.
Life on the road can be daunting sometimes, never being home, being away from friends and family for years, but it’s all been worth it. The perspective my adventures have given me is irreplaceable.
I hope to share some of these journeys with you, so you too can discover your own country and wander down the road less traveled.
